Introduction
▲ Back to the TopA friend's son was given a Nerf gun as a present and was shooting various things around the house, but mostly his sister.
I'm lucky enough to have access to a laser cutter and a large supply of offcut cardboard (from another project), so to direct his aim away from human targets I put together a little laser-cut cardboard target.
It's a relatively simple design with two slotted sides holding a target face, a back plate, a front strip and an angled base. There is a hanging plate suspended behind the target face which is intended to swing back when hit by a dart, hopefully taking some of the impact so the dart drops on to the angled base and ends up in the score area behind the front strip.
