What's going on here?
Hello. I'm Mika, a carbon-based lifeform living on the very same planet as you (well, probably). I like making things, both digital and analogue. You can look at them here and, hopefully, make your own.
I am subject to some of the usual drawbacks of an organic brain and I have to deal with late-stage capitalism every day, so that's exhausting. All this leads to what I like to call 'tectonic development': Things change at an almost imperceptible rate, then suddenly make huge leaps forward, terrifying everyone involved. I hope that, despite this, you find something useful here.
I am relatively sure that the erroneously named 'social media' will cause the downfall of human civilisation, so I refuse to engage with it. The web was created with open standards and an incredible vision of freedom of information and education. Capitalist greed and human nature has poisoned the fountain of knowledge and I have no interest in being influenced by algorithms, bots or self-proclaimed arbiters of the zeitgeist.
Therefore, I write my own HTML and put it out here with no interest in 'likes' or 'followers', but simply to share what I make and think in the interests of free culture.
